The Friendship Book of Francis Gay - 1981

August 4, 2009

A passage from The Friendship book of Francis Gay - Written on my birthday.

Friday - February 20

The Arabs have this lovely definition of a friend:

” A true friend is one to who you can tip out all the contents of your heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest hand will take and sift it, keep wat is worth keeping and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away”

I believe that this is the perfect definition of a friend, anyone should be able to do this, to take what you have to say and care nothing about it at all, and to support you with whatever decision that you may make, even if it affects them in a good or bad way, a friend should to able to filter the bad things to make you and anyone around you happy, no matter what the consiquences.

In that turn of writing on this blog I bid you adieu and say,
Keep Trucking Driver!
